WVU Dining Services is committed to providing a safe dining experience for our students, faculty and staff as they return to campus. Learn about some of the additional safety measures we will be implementing this fall in response to COVID-19.

WVU Dining summer renovations announced

When students arrive on campus this fall, they may not recognize some of WVU Dining’s locations. Construction is underway this summer at several locations to enhance students’ dining experience.

Café Evansdale will be completely renovated and modernized to include action stations that provide more “showtime” cooking. Diners’ meals will be created as they watch! Additionally, Hatfields will transition to a residential dining hall - similar to Café Evansdale – and will have a new modernized look along with action cooking stations.

Jazzmans will be created in the Mountainlair in the space formerly occupied by JACS. Guests will find a coffee shop offering fresh bakery products and an exciting new sandwich menu, as well as convenience store items. Chick-fil-A in the Mountainlair will be renovated and modernized to expand its menu offerings. You’ll still find your favorites, plus more!

Chick-fil-A will be opening in HSC and join Mindful and Burgershop as an option on the Health Sciences area of campus.

Students, faculty, staff and guests will have greater variety in food options amid updated surroundings, and in residential dining facilities, a more interactive experience. Renovations will take place this summer with plans for completion before classes begin. We can’t wait for you to enjoy them!
