Complete your housing application. If you are a commuter student, you may choose your dining plan after you register for New Student Orientation.
Review the available dining plans and choose the one best for you.
When you're ready to purchase your plan, go to mymountaineercard.wvu.edu and log in with your WVU credentials.

Note: The MyMountaineerCard website is not compatible with Internet Explorer. We recommend using Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
Select Purchase Dining Plan and follow the prompts.

Spring 2025 Reminders

Spring 2025 dining plans go on sale Tuesday, Oct. 15.

Students living in residence halls will automatically be enrolled in the same plan they chose for the fall semester if they do not choose an alternative plan by Tuesday, Nov. 19.

The last day to change your dining plan yourself online is Thursday, Jan. 9.

Fall 2024 dining plans will be active and available for use from Friday, Jan. 10 through Saturday, May 10 (until noon).

The last day to request changes to your dining plan is Friday, Jan. 24. You can request changes by contacting Dining Services.

Dining Dollars from the fall semester will only roll over to the spring semester with purchase of a new dining plan. Unused Dining Dollars at the end of the spring semester of each academic year will be forfeited.
