Choose the dining plan that fits your schedule and lifestyle. Fall 2024 dining plans are available for purchase at mymountaineercard.wvu.edu.

More than 2,000 WVU students living off campus choose to purchase a dining plan every year. We offer a variety of options to suit different budgets and needs.

Fall 2024 Off-Campus Student Plans

Off-campus student dining plans must be purchased on a per-semester basis. When you’re ready to purchase your plan, go to mymountaineercard.wvu.edu, select Purchase Dining Plan and follow the instructions.
Pricing is subject to WVU Board of Governors approval in June 2024.

Meal Swipe

A single transaction used to eat one meal at a residential dining location. Go plan meal swipes don’t roll over from week to week.

Dining Dollars

Non-taxable form of payment used to make purchases in place of meal swipes at any WVU Dining Services location. At the end of the fall semester, remaining Dining Dollars will roll over to the spring with purchase of a spring dining plan, but will expire at the end of the school year. You can add Dining Dollars to your existing Dining Plan by contacting WVU Dining Services.

Mountie Bounty

Taxable, pre-paid debit plan that can be used at any on-campus dining location, as well as off-campus locations such as CVS, IHOP, McDonalds, Panera Bread, Sheetz and more. You can load Mountie Bounty onto your WVU ID card by going to mymountaineercard.wvu.edu and paying with a credit card. Balances carry forward to the next semester, and refunds can be requested upon graduation. See where you can use your Mountaineer ID card and Mountie Bounty.
