Chef Aarón Sánchez to visit campus on Tuesday, Jan. 30

Award-winning chef, TV personality, author and philanthropist Aarón Sánchez will be serving up Super Bowl favorites at Adobo Cantina in Café Evansdale on Tuesday, Jan. 30 from noon to 1 p.m.

Students can try Sánchez’s pineapple ginger wings, which are carefully crafted using a recipe passed down to him from his mother. They can also look forward to albóndiga (meatball) sliders and Mardi Gras tres leches king cake.

Sánchez has starred in multiple Food Network shows, most notably Chopped and Chopped Junior, and he currently is a judge on FOX's hit culinary competition series MasterChef and MasterChef Junior. Sánchez is also the chef and owner of multiple restaurants, including WVU’s own Adobo Cantina.
