In partnership with the Student Government Association, WVU Dining Services is seeking
students to serve on the newly established Student Dining Taskforce, a student
advocacy group dedicated to ensuring that dining needs are heard and addressed.
As part of our continuing efforts to provide a great dining experience on campus,
WVU Dining Services is seeking your feedback on dining hall operations for the
spring semester.
In observance of Ramadan, WVU Dining Services will sell to-go halal meals and breakfast
boxes at select convenience locations before and after spring recess.
WVU Dining Services is enhancing campus dining halls based on valuable input gathered
from a recent survey and additional student feedback shared with the campus dietitian.
Responses highlighted a desire for expanded plant-based options and international
dishes.
Lila Palmer, a first-year
West Virginia Universityhealth and well-being major from Pine Grove, is one of 10 winners of Sodexo’s
national “Grateful Plateful” Sweepstakes, a promotion designed to give students
across the country a chance to win a charitable donation to a food-related organization
of their choice.
The new semester is here, bringing opportunities for growth, fun and unforgettable
memories. To celebrate, Dining Services invites students to enjoy two special themed
dinners in January:
WVU Dining comprises a team of managers, chefs, food service workers and student
workers to provide a dynamic dining experience for the campus community. Another
part of that dining team is the student interns, who, through
Sodexo, get on-the-job experience in marketing.
WVU Dining Services and Student Life will be offering free coffee, discounted drinks
and snacks at various locations on campus during prep day and finals week (Dec.
13-20).
