Dining Services to hold online hiring event for student workers

WVU Dining Services will be holding virtual interviews and informational events about student employment opportunities with Dining Services.

Many positions are available on-campus at WVU’s dining halls, retail restaurant locations, catering operations and coffee shops for both kitchen staff and front of the house staff beginning in the fall semester. Student workers are part of a dynamic team of hospitality and food service workers, and can gain real-world industry experience in a fast-paced environment. Flexible schedules are available to suit students’ needs, and a free meal is provided to students when they work.

Students are invited to sign up for info sessions and/or interviews on Handshake during the virtual events: noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 6; and noon to 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 14. Students can also email HR Manager Tiffany.Peden@sodexo.com at any time for information about working for WVU Dining Services.

The interviews will take place with dining managers in the catering, retail and residential dining departments. The informational sessions, which are geared toward new Dining Services employees, will cover what kind of job opportunities are available, what the benefits are of working for Dining Services, and how to apply.

If you have any questions, please contact Tiffany at Tiffany.Peden@sodexo.com.
