Dining Services to provide meals during Ramadan

WVU Dining Services is providing meals after sunset and before sunrise to those who observe Ramadan.

Beginning Monday, April 12, through the end of the semester, WVU Dining Services will provide to-go meals — ordered through a request form each day — to those who request a meal. The meals will be halal with different options each day.

Meals will be available for pick-up between 8 and 9 p.m. Monday through Friday at Jazzmans at the Mountainlair for students who reside on the Downtown campus. Saturday and Sunday pick-up for Downtown students will be at Which Which in the Mountainlair between 8 and 9 p.m.

Students who reside on the Evansdale campus will pick up their meals at the Lyons Den Sundays through Thursdays between 8 and 9 p.m. Meals will be available for Evansdale students to pick up on Friday and Saturdays between 8 and 9 p.m. at Café Evansdale.

The cutoff time for ordering is 3 p.m. each day for dinner, and a breakfast box will be available for pickup with the dinner meal.

If you are interested in receiving these meals during Ramadan, contact Dining Services to be provided with access to the request form.

Note: Students do not need to have a WVU Dining Plan to request a meal as part of this program.
