Students who are committed to fighting hunger in their communities are eligible to apply for a national scholarship offered by the Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation. Up to five students will receive a $10,000 scholarship for school and a $5,000 grant to give to the hunger-related charity of their choice.
New members of the WVU
Student Dining Committee have been chosen to serve during the 2023-2024 academic
year. Formed last year, the committee ensures students have a voice and involvement
in WVU Dining Services’ current and future decisions, initiatives and offerings.
As the Mountaineers prepare to take on the Pittsburgh Panthers, WVU Dining Services is hosting special events in the dining halls from Monday, Sept. 11, through Saturday, Sept. 16.
WVU Dining Services is seeking members for the Student Dining Committee, which will
provide insight into the student dining experience and focus on enhancements to
sustainability, nutrition and student satisfaction.

information, hours of operation, dietitian services and more.
Leighann Scott, who originally hails from Morgantown, received her bachelor’s degree
in human nutrition and hospitality management from the University of Alabama in
2014, and master’s degree in nutrition and dietetics from Illinois State University
in 2023, where she completed her dietetic internship. She also holds a bachelor’s
degree in English from WVU.
