WVU Dining has partnered with the Rohr Chabad Jewish Center to provide a fresh selection of locally prepared kosher meals.

For students looking to keep a kosher diet, WVU Dining has entered into a partnership with the Rohr Chabad Jewish Center to add a variety of fresh and locally prepared kosher meals as campus dining options. In the fall of 2017, the Chabad Center completed renovations on a health department certified commercial kitchen, allowing it to prepare and sell kosher food items. It's the first and only commercial kosher kitchen in the state of West Virginia certified by the health department.

The partnership between WVU Dining and Rohr Chabad has two parts. First, students on the Evansdale Campus will have access to freshly made grab-and-go kosher options at Cavanaugh'sda Vinci's, and Brew 'n Gold locations. Second, all students, regardless of religious observance, are welcome to use their Dining Plan "swipes" at the weekly meals served at the Chabad Center. During the fall 2017 semester, Chabad Center plans to serve dinner on Monday and Thursday from 5:30pm to 7:00pm, and Wednesday lunch from 11:30am to 1:15pm. Weekly meal schedules may change due to holidays and university recess schedules.
