Fall 2018 Dining Plans Now Available.

Welcome to WVU, newly accepted students! We're already planning ahead to August of 2018 for your arrival to campus, and odds are, if you're reading this website, you are too. To help you plan and prepare, here is everything you'll need to know about food for next fall:

Step 1: Explore your Dining Plan options
WVU Dining offers a variety of Dining Plans depending on a student's lifestyle and housing. Four Resident Dining Plans are available for students living in WVU residence halls. You’re required to have a Dining Plan if you live in a residence hall. There are six Non-Resident Dining Plans for students living off campus.

Step 2: Claim your WVU Student Account
Most of WVU's systems are accessed using the same set of Login credentials. If you have been admitted to WVU and haven’t already claimed your WVU Login, visit login.wvu.edu and select the “Claim Account” option.

Step 3: Complete Your Housing Assignment
The next step for choosing your Dining Plan is completing your housing assignment. Visit WVU's "Apply for a Residence Hall" page and select your housing for next fall. There are plenty of great places to live on campus, and there are WVU Dining locations close to every Residence Hall.

Step 4: Select your Dining Plan
Student accounts are created each Wednesday. If you completed your housing assignment by Tuesday at midnight, you will be able to select your dining plan after 6 p.m. on Wednesday by logging in at mymountaineercard.wvu.edu with your WVU Login. Miss the midnight cut-off? You will be able to select your plan the following Wednesday.

After logging in, choose "Select Dining Plan" on the left sidebar. Follow the prompts, choose your Dining Plan and you will be set. Pricing provided is the estimated cost for dining plans during the 2018-2019 academic year and is subject to change. If you experience technical problems while selecting a plan, contact us directly at dining@mail.wvu.edu.

Extra Notes
  • Dining Plans are billed to student accounts in early July 2018 for payment. Payment is not required at the time of Dining Plan selection.
  • The tentative deadline to choose a Dining Plan is June 29th, 2018. At this deadline, all students in residence who haven't chosen a plan will be assigned a plan. Non-resident students may choose a Dining Plan at any time.
  • WVU Dining is excited to welcome all students, including those with a food allergy, food intolerance, or faith based diet. Please visit the Campus Dining with Allergies and Kosher Campus Dining sections of our website for more information.
  • Students living in Seneca Hall are required to pick from one of the four dining plans available to all students living in WVU residence halls. The upperclass elite and upperclass express plans are not available options for residential students.
