Fall 2018 Dining Plans Now Available.

Welcome to WVU, newly accepted students! We're already planning ahead to August of 2018 for your arrival to campus, and odds are, if you're reading this website, you are too. To help you plan and prepare, here is everything you'll need to know about food for next fall:

Step 1: Explore your Dining Plan options (start now!)
WVU Dining offers a variety of Dining Plans depending on a student's lifestyle and housing. Four different Dining Plan options are available for students living in WVU Residence Halls, and a Dining Plan is required for these students. There are six different Dining Plan options for students living off campus with family. For more details on Dining Plans, campus dining locations, or for questions about special diets, see the right-hand side bar. Please note pricing reflects the 2017-2018 school year.

Step 2: Claim your WVU Student Account (start soon!)
Begin this step after you have enrolled at WVU and paid your initial housing deposit. Most of WVU's systems are accessed using the same set of login credentials. Students can activate their credentials by visiting login.wvu.edu and selecting the "Claim Account" option. Once a student has claimed his or her Student Account, they will be able to log into the majority of WVU's databases, including housing, dining, email, financial aid, and more. Once you have your WVU Student Account, move on to the next step.

Step 3: Select your Dining Plan (now available!)
Once you have browsed your Dining Plan options, visit WVU's Student ID card website, mymountaineercard.wvu.edu. When you arrive on campus, your Mountaineer Card will serve a number of functions, including student ID, PRT and bus rides, and Dining Plan access. Log in with your student ID. You'll see the option "select Dining Plan" on the left sidebar. Follow the prompts, choose your Dining Plan, and you will be set for the fall! Pricing provided is the estimated cost for dining plans during the 2017-2018 academic year and is subject to change.

Note: there may be a delay of a few days between the date that your WVU student account is claimed and when that account registers in our Mountaineer Card database. If you're having trouble logging in, give it a day or two and try again. If you're still having issues selecting a plan, feel free to contact us directly at dining@mail.wvu.edu.
